Ever close your eyes
Ever stop and listen
Ever feel alive
And you've nothing missing
You don't need a reason
Let the day go on and on

Let the rain fall down
Everywhere around you
Give into it now
Let the day surround you
You don't need a reason
Let the rain go on and on

What a day, what a day to take to
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child

Only take the time
From the helter skelter
Every day you find
Everything's in kilter
You don't need a reason
Let the day go on and on

Every summer sun
Every winter evening
Every spring to come
Every autumn leaving
You don't need a reason
Let it all go on and on

What a day, what a day to take to
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child

What a day, what a day to take to
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child

Da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da

What a day, what a day to take to
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to
Da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da
What a way, what a way to make it through
Da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da
What a way, what a way to make it through
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child
What a day, what a day to take to a wild child

mmm embrace you inner wild child. you definitely dont need a reason to do that...

You're never to busy to take a look around and enjoy what's there and what you've got. Take it all in while you can since you never know when's your last chance til it gone

Do want you want, don't be afraid if it's too wild or not normal, live life and be happy. Don't let everything get you down, look around and realise there is alot to appreciate.

To me, personally, it speaks to rediscovering your "inner child". It says to run through the meadows and frolic and do somersaults and cartwheels and lay in the grass...play in the rain...be wild and undomesticated, like you were before the world came along and broke you.

Uhm I think people are straying. Enya's music is quite straight forward. I think by this she is talking about falling in love with a "wild child", or embracing an inner child.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
