Wake me up, it's morning.
And take me down to the corner
Place before the shade
Retreats behind the wall and
I decide to stay here.

Cup of tea, blackberry,
Everything's alright now.
Don't let me sleep.

Easier to drive,
Leave the oven on,
Burn the house down.
It was warm and pleasant
And over in an instant.
I feel like I dreamt it,
But it's not there now.
Golden gate bridge,
Everything's alright.

General Commenta lot of relationships hit rocky peaks, and at those peaks there usually lies a point where you just get angry and say, "is this it or what? are we going to work or not?" and you just wander if you should burn the fucking house down..

    or something to that affect.

Memorydescribes the morning after pretty well.
irrational panic, followed by its supplication by tea.

    this is my favourite song.

General CommentI submitted a request to change the lyrics to include both singers, where they attempt to sing over one another. That the current lyrics don't include that is a great disservice to the song. What is more appropriate with a song about a rocky relationship than having both singers trying to drown out each other. Though, I think it more indicates their lives going off in different directions.

My favourite Rainer Maria song, and one of my favourite 90s songs.
