When you're out there on your own
Where your memories can find you
Like a circle goes around
You were lost until you found out
What it all comes down to

One by one
The lonely feelings come
Day by day, they slowly fade away

Ooh, the look was in her eyes
You never know what might be found there
She was dancing right in time
And the moves she made so fine
Like the music that surrounds her

Should I stay or go?
I really want to know
Would I loose or win
If I try and love again?
Oh oh oh gonna try and love again
Oh oh oh I'm gonna try and love again
Oh oh oh gonna try and love

Right or wrong, what's done is done
It's only moments that you borrow
But the thoughts will linger on
Of the lady and her song
When the sun comes up tomorrow

Well, it might take years
To see through all these tears
Don't let go
When you find it you will know

Oh oh oh, gonna try and love again
Oh oh oh, gonna try and love again
Oh oh oh, gonna try and love again
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Sometimes lose, sometimes win,
Sometimes you need a friend
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Gonna try,
Gonna try
Gonna try, gonna try, gonna try, gonna try
Gonna try, gonna try, gonna try, gonna try
Gonna try, gonna try, gonna try, gonna try
Gonna try
Gonna try, gonna try, gonna try, gonna try
Gonna try, gonna try, gonna try, gonna try
Gonna try, gonna try, gonna try, gonna try
Gonna try

I really like this song. My Dad loves it, he always says it reminds him of my Mum, who died seven years ago. I like it because I like what it reminds him of, and the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me as a song in its own right.

This section: "Ooh, the look was in her eyes you never know what might be found there She was dancing right in time And the looks she made so fine Like the music that surrounds her"

and this section: "Right or wrong, what's done is done It's only moments that we borrow But the thoughts will linger on of the lady and her song When the sun comes up tomorrow Well, it might take years to see Through all these tears Don't let go When you find it you will know"

Are the sections that make me realise I know exactly what my Dad means when he says this song reminds him of my Mum. She was a really beautiful lady.

lol that's really interesting because when my mom and dad were together in high school this was their "song".

Must be some kind of cult.

I think this is one spectacular masterpiece by Randy Meisner. It goes to show than men too suffer heartbreak. This is the story of a man who has had his heart broken in a previous relationship and is undecided as to whether to go ahead and fall inlove again. "One by one the lonely feelings come. Day by day they slowly fade away. Well it might take years to see through these tears. Should I stay or go? Would i lose or win if I try and love again." Excellent pieces of literature. It would make an excellent first song at a wedding if both bride and groom were in previous broken marriages. Love this song!

    Memory

I bought this album shortly after a girl I really liked rejected me. I have never dated anyone before (still haven't dated anybody before). I have Asperger's which greatly reduces my chances to find dates because of my social awkwardness. This song reminds me of two streams of thought: 1) After loving someone as wonderful as her and being rejected by her, can I learn to love again? 2) Because of my asperger's and being unable to find someone, is it worth trying to love someone if i can't be loved in return.

    My Interpretation

This song was only liked by the fans who would listen to the whole album not just the rocking guitar and angelic vocals the band covered the radio stations of the day AM as well as FM kids today are at a loss of the deep heart breaking been cheated on or lost the one true thing you held dearest and the genius of the songs simplicity that holds true to any VICTIM OF LOVE the pain and feeling lost and regretful sorrow felt by the one who loses it all really it all comes down to the circle the circle of life and that thru it all you\'ll get back in the game pick yourself up dust off your pride and TRY key word TRY and love again. So all you 70s burnouts can you remember how the Eagles were in your head at the high times and the lows how much slower and brighter those times were it\'s all left up to you in the end day by day they slowly fade away to the lady and her song the moves she made so fine so stay or go are you living to find joy or are you living to stop the pain would you lose or win just try to love. Love again like open your eyes love living again the queen of hearts is your best bet the angels got a real gift with Glenn we should thank the Lord for the ones that we still have Joe don randy and the pretender we are just lucky that way

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
