A Place In This World Lyrics

The wind is moving
But I am standing still
A life of pages waiting to be filled
A heart that's hopeful
A head that's full of dreams
But this becoming is harder than it seems
Feels like...

Chorus:
I'm looking for a reason
Roaming through the night to find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Not a lot to lean on
I need Your light to help me find
My place in this world
My place in this world

If there are millions
Down on their knees
Among the many can you still hear me
Hear me asking where do I belong
Is there a vision that I can call my own
Show me...

(repeat Chorus 'till end)

This song brings me back to middle school. They would play it every morning before making announcements. For me, it definitely sums up what it’s like to go through that phase in your life.. The possibilities are endless, it seems like. But, it’s all up to you of course. Good or bad..

Things were really tough back then growing up looking back on it. I happened to remember the lyrics because I used to hear it all the time and it took me back. I am just glad it’s all over and I got through that weird hump in life where you’re not considered a child anymore yet not a teenager.
