We've Been Talking For an Hour now
and your not letting this one go
you put it on everything ive done wrong
youre ready to throw the final blow

you pretend not to notice
as my favored ego shatters
you pretend not to hear me
as if it didn't matter

if you would only stop to notice
i think you'd understand
your hold my bloody heart
and it's beating in your hand

there's this thing called love
its killing me its killing me
there's this pain called beauty
and it lies behind those eyes

There's nothing now
youve pushed me from my throat
There's nothing now
im just lying here alone
lying here alone

well im sittin here amazed by the sound
a breakin heart makes
im just keeping out of everything
a hopless life takes

all this suction for the answer
to the questions that you say
ill be hoping to replace the life that ive lived
like your listening to the NFL
can you hear me when i scream
some tell me to remember
all of this is a dream

there's this thing called love
its killing me its killing me
there's this pain called beauty
and it lies behind those eyes

There's nothing now
youve pushed me from my throat
There's nothing now
im just lying here alone
lying here alone

there's this thing called love
its killing me its killing me
there's this pain called beauty
and it lies behind those eyes those eyes

There's nothing now
youve pushed me from my throat
There's nothing now
im just lying here alone
dying here alone
