Window Paine Lyrics

Window Paine around my heart
Shadows stream around my heart

Do what you're gonna do
Say what you're gonna say
Do what you're gonna do
Yeah start today
Start today

Wind blows shame around my heart
Shadows scream around my heart

What are you coming to
Stripped down to the bone?
Life ain't living on your own
All alone

Maybe the greatest song on Gish in my opinion. The lyrics aren't the songs strongest side, but the rest of it is great.

Annoying how you reply to your own posts. At least wait for someone to post what they think. I know it's been four years, but it's pretty stupid.

When i first started listening to Gish, this song stuck out the most. The solo part at the end when the drums are building up faster and faster always reminded me of Stranglehold from Ted Nugent.

I dont think any of the songs on gish are "ABOUT" lsd, but they all have influences from the mindstate of lsd. This song is no doubt one of them

Perhaps about LSD. Thought it more about living with regret.

@xmakesherflyx here 10 and a half years later to say i agree with you. regret sums it up perfectly.

I thought it could be about someone who has done something they never wanted to do and there was a big conciquience and now they just wanna get it over with.
