teenage dream to work with Ron Saint
home he ain't, we layin' tracks in Cali
the dude is excitable like a pep rally
since the days of the Eds in the westside
keeping it real, got nothing to hide
now we are a number, there is none greater
take me outside king, yo peace see ya later
the groove is soothin'
Let's step out tonight, all right
it's a fellow feelin' with my friends, once again
Aunt Mary's summertime backyard picnic
did you drink my beer Doug? yeah I did it
don't tell me to bring you beer
if you think I won't sip it
swinging on swinging on jungle gym sets
daddy talkin' bout the horses he bet
when I got home my friends phoned, hey Holmes
the groove is soothin'
Let's step out tonight, all right
it's a fellow feelin' with my friends, once again
eat smoked fish, that is my favorite dish
eat smoked fish, that is my favorite dish
eat smoked fish, that is my favorite dish
the groove is soothin'
Let's step out tonight, all right
it's a fellow feelin' with my friends, once again
eat smoked fish, that is my favorite dish
eat smoked fish, that is my favorite dish
eat smoked fish, that is my favorite dish

Why hasn't anyone commented on this song yet?!?! This is SUCH a fun song live!!! :-D

its disco-ish... i think its just about a good time!! like finally goin out with friends/fam u havent seen in awhile just to have fun...

Yeah, a very fun song. The beat just makes you wanna go out. The verses are both kind of shout outs to their roots. "The Eds" was the name of a band a couple of 311 guys were in growing up.
I love SA's verse..."don't tell me to bring you a beer if you think I won't sip it."

WOW they better play this in ATL on the 31st or i will be highly pissed Ive heard everything i wanted to hear 311 sing live but this song would make my year if they p;ayed it

Yes!! haha I know! I love SA.. "Did you drink my beer doug?! Yeah! I did it!" me and my cousin love that part!

i love this song! its so short and sweet. i never knew he said eat smoked fish that is my favorite dish tho...whatevr, thats kinda weird. anyway, i think they should merge this song with loco. that would be tight

This song makes me so happy, I can;t help but laugh when I listen to it, it reminds me of good times.

I think this is on a Richard Simon's "Music to Excercise to" compilation.

"A pen and a paper, a stereo, a tape of Me and Eric B, and a nice big plate of Fish, which is my favorite dish But without no money it's still a wish"
