This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
I get so nervous I'm shaking
Gets so I got no pride at all
Gets so bad but I just keep coming back for more
I guess I just get off on that stuff
I'm thinking about taking some time
I'm thinking about leaving soon
I got some things I can't tell anyone
I got some things I just can't say
They're the kind of things no one knows about
I just need somebody to talk to me
I'm thinking about leaving tomorrow
I'm thinking about being on my own
I think I been wasting my time
I'm thinking about getting out
In all this time,
The bottom line's you don't know how much I feel
You say you see but I don't agree
You don't know how I feel
I'm just trying to get myself some gravity
You're just trying to get me to stay
Sometimes I sit here looking down upon Los Angeles
Sometimes I'm floating away
I'm thinking about breakin myself
I'm thinking about getting back home
I think I been waiting for way too long
I'm thinking about getting out
Gets so I got no pride at all
Gets so bad but I just keep coming back for more
I guess I just get off on that stuff
I'm thinking about taking some time
I'm thinking about leaving soon
I got some things I can't tell anyone
I got some things I just can't say
They're the kind of things no one knows about
I just need somebody to talk to me
I'm thinking about leaving tomorrow
I'm thinking about being on my own
I think I been wasting my time
I'm thinking about getting out
In all this time,
The bottom line's you don't know how much I feel
You say you see but I don't agree
You don't know how I feel
I'm just trying to get myself some gravity
You're just trying to get me to stay
Sometimes I sit here looking down upon Los Angeles
Sometimes I'm floating away
I'm thinking about breakin myself
I'm thinking about getting back home
I think I been waiting for way too long
I'm thinking about getting out

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
Depressing? Yes. Sad? Yes. Brilliant? Yes. "Don't know how I feel." I had read a negative review of this song on Amazon, so I hardly ever listened to it, and when I finally did, I loved it. It's kind of like the dreams people have of getting out of their bad situations and moving away to something new. Or it could be about suicide. "Thinkin' bout gettin' back home. Thinkin bout gettin out." Whatever it is about, it is great. I would say any form of escapism from the life he has created for himself. He's had at least 2 nervous breakdowns in his life before, so maybe he is trying to avoid another.
