I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
Incredible how you can
See right through me

(Freddie Mercury)
When you hear a sound
That you just can't place
Feel somethin' move
That you just can't trace
When something sits
On the end of your bed
Don't turn around
When you hear me tread

I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
Incredible how you can
See right through me
I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
It's criminal how I can
See right through you

I'm in your room
And I'm in your bed
And I'm in your life
And I'm in your head
Like the CIA
Or the FBI
You'll never get close
Never take me alive

I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
Incredible how you can
See right through me
I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
It's criminal how I can
See right through you

Hah, hah, hah, hello
Hah, hah, hah, okay
Hah, hah, hah, hello hello hello hello
Never had a real good friend, not a boy or a girl
No one knows what I've been through, let my flag unfurl
So make my mark from the edge of the world
From the edge of the world
From the edge of the world

Now I'm on your track
And I'm in your mind
And I'm on your back
But don't look behind
I'm your meanest thought
I'm your darkest fear
Put I'll never get caught
You can't shake me, shake me dear

I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
Incredible how you can
See right through me (watch me)
I'm the invisible man
I'm the invisible man
It's criminal how I can
See right through you
Look at me, look at me

Shake me, shake me, shake me dear

This somehow reminded me of the Ghostbusters song.

Yeah, it does remind of MJ...you know, when I first heard this song, it was the middle of the night, and when i heard the first line... "I'm the invisible man" whispered, I was so terrified...lmao. Yeah, I like the announcing, it's awesome...Freddie ROCKED, fuck all homophobes who think he sucked just coz he was gay. ^_^

I'm the first one, alright. What can I say about this song? He is the invisible man and you won't take him alive!

I like how he announces group members. Like they are playing jazz music and before each of them does solo they get announced.

Uh-huh. That was a nice touch. Buthe pronounced Brian May as "ride me" (he-he) and Roger Taylor as "rip his head off" :-)

I heard that this song was about John Deacon. Because he was always so quiet and for some people kind of invisible. But I'm not sure about that. Anyway, I like this song. And it does remind me of Michael Jackson too.

When I first heard this I thought they said Marti Pellow when they said Roger Taylor! My ex housemate from uni thinks this is the best song they ever did! Not sure I agree that far, but it is a cool song. The video is fun and lighthearted.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
