United Cigar Lyrics
this brain is out of practice
thinking is alien
it's alien to me
electrons comfort me the television is my only friend
this would never happen to me
there's something missing here i can't define
would you like to come to a place inside my head
or would you like to watch me fall asleep instead
takes my mind away
growing stronger how much longer
will things be this way
they don't want me to forget all that they think i've learned
i've explained my situation but why can't they see
friday's just another night for me
and it's a rare time that i spend with no one else around but me
these moments are so precious now
getting better just like wine
but wine won't make me happy
i thought it could i thought it should
now turned around i'm looking down
there's nothing there but i can still
see myself a lonely boy
this song pretty much sums up my life a few months ago...
HA! I'm dating the neice of the drummer of this group. And Good Riddance KICKS ASS!
I sincerely miss songs like this out of good riddance....i wish they wouldn't have gone to shit!
sad to see that one of the best songs from "Fat Music for Fat People: Vol. 1" has so few comments. This track probably takes the cake (besides propagandhi's and lagwagon's songs). Brilliant, poignant, and very relatable in terms of a teenage experience. But if it's a teenage angst thing, why the hell does he talk about wine? Who drinks wine in high school?
@poopoohead01 Well, I’m only responding 15 years later. Hope you’re still listening poopoohead.

Who drinks wine in high school? Russ Rankin did.
