This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
Walk with me
Open your sensitive mouth and talk to me
Hold out your delicate hands and feel me
Couldn't make any plans to conceal me
Open your sensitive mouth
Hold out your delicate hands
With such a sensitive mouth
I'm easy to see through
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
Cry for you
Seen the tears roll down from my eyes for you
Heard my truth distorted to lies for you
Watched my love becoming a prize for you
Seen the tears in my eyes
Heard my truth turn to lies
Seen the tears in my eyes
I'm not proud of what I do
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
I come up to meet you
Up there somewhere
When I rush to greet you
My soul is bared
Gave more for you
Dropped my crutches and crawled on the floor for you
Went looking behind every door for you
And because of the things that I saw for you
I spiritually grew
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
Rush for you
I rush for you
I rush for you
I rush for you
Open your sensitive mouth and talk to me
Hold out your delicate hands and feel me
Couldn't make any plans to conceal me
Open your sensitive mouth
Hold out your delicate hands
With such a sensitive mouth
I'm easy to see through
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
Cry for you
Seen the tears roll down from my eyes for you
Heard my truth distorted to lies for you
Watched my love becoming a prize for you
Seen the tears in my eyes
Heard my truth turn to lies
Seen the tears in my eyes
I'm not proud of what I do
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
I come up to meet you
Up there somewhere
When I rush to greet you
My soul is bared
Gave more for you
Dropped my crutches and crawled on the floor for you
Went looking behind every door for you
And because of the things that I saw for you
I spiritually grew
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
When I come up
When I rush
I rush for you
Rush for you
I rush for you
I rush for you
I rush for you

Plastic Bag

Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it.
“I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
Martin wasn't the one on heroin, folks!!!
@blynx No, but I think it's a pretty safe assumption that he'd have tried it. if for the sole reason of tapping into Dave's psyche. So yeah, I guess he knows how it feels.
@blynx doesnt have to be using drugs to write a song about it. Martin is very sensitive and observes the behavior of a bandmate he\'s close to... it\'s enough to be able to write a song for it... rush is the rush you get from the drug like heroin. It sounds like a convo between the user and the drug itself. Kinda like the angel and demon where the demon (drug) is whispering in your ear to do something even though you shouldn\'t and it\'s saying "but it\'s good for you... it will male you feel good... dont you wanna feel good?" And the guy saying I would even crawl and look everywhere to get some... but also his experiences while using drugs led to him learning more about himself (not necessarily recommended but worked in his case) and he spiritually grew. When you OD (as dave had) and are brought back to life, it will put things in perspective for you and you grow in every way. A lot of the time what ppl lack is a spiritual connection with God which leads to their unhappiness. Those with a spiritual awakening and developing a relationship with God, tend to be able to find peace of mind and happiness.
@blynx Oh yes he was. He didn’t struggle with addiction as much as Dave did but Martin certainly did use hard core drugs during that time. I don’t think he realized how bad off Dave was at this point. Young and naïve and full of dreams. Don’t we all wish we could relive our 20’s again!
@blynx Martin was very much addicted to alcohol though
