As I lay here with you
The shame lies with us
We talk of love and trust
That doesn't matter

Though we may be the last in the world
We feel like pioneers
Telling hopes and fears
To one another

And, oh, what a feeling inside of me
It might last for an hour
Wounds aren't healing inside of me
Though it feels good now
I know it's only for now

The feeling is intense
You grip me with your eyes
And then I realise
It doesn't matter

I think most have hit it pretty close to the mark. I believe the song is about “temporary” love. Meaning paid sexual encounter with a professional.

    1. “…it might last for an hour..” = that’s usually the length of time you pay for a professional, trust me, I know. LOL
    2. “…wounds aren’t healing inside of me..” = meaning he’s trying to do this to get away from his pain, and as someone else pointed out, it’s sad because when it’s over, you know the pain will return.
    3. “though it feels good now…I Know it’s only for NOW…” = meaning the pleasure is Temporary hence, an encounter with a hooker/prostitute, someone Temporary that will make him forget his pain/sorrow. I don’t think it’s an encounter between two teenagers, because it would come off more romantic. I don’t think it’s about betrayal because never in the song is there a mention of “getting away with something” or “doing something behind a true loves back”. “…The shame lies with us..” is another example. Going to a hooker/prostitute, involves shame. My opinion. Thanks.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
