Mouthful of cavities
Your soul's a bowl of jokes
And everyday you remind me
How I'm desperately in need

See, I got a lot of fiends around
And they're peaking through nothing new
They see you
They see everything you do

See everything on the inside, out

Oh, please give me a little more
And I'll push away those baby blues
Cause one of these days this will die
So will me and so will you

I write a letter to a friend of mine
I tell him how much I used to love watch him smile

See I haven't seen him smile in a little while

Haven't seen him smile in a little while

But, I know you're laughing from the inside out
Laughin' from the inside out
I know you're laughing from the inside out
Laughing from the inside
From the inside
From the inside
From the inside
From the inside out

alright, i just have to say i hope i dont ruin the song for anyone, this is just my interpitation.....here goes

-Mouthful of cavities Your soul's a bowl of jokes And everyday you remind me How I'm desperately in need-

I see this like the narrorater was with someone he really likes when they were alone, but was a totally different person when they were with other people (...bowl of jokes), but liked this person so much he couldnt let them go(everyday you remind me of how im desperatly in need)

-See, I got a lot of fiends around And they're peaking through nothing new They see you They see everything you do-

he is talking about how these are his feinds, his feelings he wants to keep in and not show anyone, he thinks he sees better in the other person and yadda yadda yadda

-See everything on the inside, out-

    same deal

-Oh, please give me a little more And I'll push away those baby blues Cause one of these days this will die So will me and so will you-

I have something in my mind, but i just cant really put it to words.....kinda...sorry

-I write a letter to a friend of mine I tell him how much I used to love watch him smile See I haven't seen him smile in a little while Haven't seen him smile in a little while -

this friend is himself, because since this other person was the only person he belived in, until they did this thing to show that they werent a true friend or something, he decided he started looking at himself in a different light, and trying to remember back before this person, back when he smiled....

-But, I know you're laughing from the inside out-

he cant get this person off his mind now, and he knows how they betrayed him or something, i dunno

im terribly sorry if i ruined this song for anyone, this is just how i feel after a hard day, its now 2:48AM, goodbye

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
