sure, but this song can also be taken literally--when the american settlers wanted the indians' land, they actually gave the indians blankets laced with the smallpox virus, killing thousands of them. pretty goddamn sick.

This one is pretty straight foward... I must add, that the last fourth of the song, when that fabulous melody comes in... is awesome!

Fugazi had a way of having a song go from being discordant to bursting into something gorgeous and this song is an amazing example. I do wonder what it would have been like if they had tried to make a song or two that sounded as awesome as this one part of small pox champion from end to end. (My guess is that such a song would have been in constant rotation on the radio.)
