When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control

You like attention
It proves to you you're alive
Stop parading your angles
Confused? You'll know when you're ripe

When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control

You're pregnant
With all this space
Thick with honey
But I lost my taste

You're into depression
'Cause it matches your eyes
Stop the faux to be famous
Confused? You'll know when you're ripe

When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control

You're pregnant
With all this space
Thick with Honey
But I've lost my taste

When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control

You're pregnant
With all this space
Thick with Honey
But I've lost my taste

You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control
When you're ripe
You'll bleed out of control
You'll bleed out of control

I fucking dedicate this song to everyone who are superficial and act like they're life is hell. I'm interpreting this song on how I feel like it means and how I relate to it.

Chino is just talking shit about people who change who they are to get attention and to be a part of the crowd. People need attention in order to feel they exit ( You like attention it’s proof To you you’re alive). TO me, when chino says "Stop parading your angles" it's like saying, "no one gives a fuck what your perspective on things are." People say "oh my life sucks." and they have no issues whatsoever. these people are conFUSED when you tell them something, but "they'll know when they're ripe" because once they go out into the real world and have REAL issues, "they'll bleed out of control."

They're lives are FINE. They have enough space. No one tries to do anything to them, but they still act like the victims. they're life is sweet as honey, no bitter shit going on You’re pregnant with all this Space thick with honey."
Not sure what he means vy "but i lost my taste" but anyway..

These people ACT depressed because that's how they WANT to be seen. (You’re into depression cause It matches your eyes.) They want people to feel sorry for them, and it's all a fucking lie. ( Stop the faux to be famous.)

But they will have theirs one day because they don't appreciatte what they have and they "will bleed out of control."

"this is laughing at everybody trying to become what they already are. if you want to be one of the elite, you are. im sort of the asshole in the song, pretty much talking shit about everybody else. you're supposed to feel stupid after listening to it and wonder what it is to be elite." - Chino

Abe writes some amazing lyrics. This song applies to those who act a certain way to get attention. Funny how long ago this song came out and yet it applies to the now so well? Like those people who act super depressed on social media to get popular but it gets out of control, and those who really have depression get overlooked because of all these teenage dickwads that are just attention seeking. Gotta love the Soundwave-esque (Transformers) vocals in this song though. One of my favorite songs.

It was Stanley Milgram's study (1974). We studied it in psychology for our Social Influence unit. Out of 40 men, 64% went up to the full voltage. But there are a lot of ethical concerns with this study; the participants weren't fully consented (they didn't know what was going to happen cos they were told it was going to be a memory test) The only reason why I know all this is because I have a very important exam in psychology on 20th May (6 days b 4 Ozzfest!!)

Oh, and by the way, it was a study on obedience not conformity, there are differences eg obedience occurs in a heirarchy, obediant behaviour differs from the 'boss' and obedience is used as an excuse for the behaviour whereare conformity occurs in a group of similar level people eg friends and conformity is the same behaviour as the 'boss'

Everyone pretty much covered what I had to say. Someone trying to be one of the big, popular people, and since they weren't really acting like themselves, it just hurt them. And if they just stayed the way they were originally everything would have been better. I just think it's cool the way Chino sings when he sings "When you're ripe, you'll bleed out of control." It's like he could be screaming or he could be whispering. Maybe screaming in the person's face or whispering behind their back? Just a thought...

i think this is about super models. "stop parading your angles" and how....apparently...they're stupid. so the only thing they know is when they'll be on the blob. "confused, you'll know when you're ripe"
