Your one in a million, oh
Your one in a million, woa oh
One, one, one, one, one,

Sometimes love can hit you everyday
Sometimes you can fall for everyone you see
But only one can really make me stay
The sign, the one in the sky, has said to me

Your one in a million
Your once in a lifetime
You made me discover one of the stars above us
Your one in a million
Your once in a lifetime
You made me discover one of the stars above us

I've been looking for that special one
I've been searching for someone to give me love
When I thought that all the hope was gone
A smile and there you were and I was gone
I always will remember how I felt that day
A feeling indescribable to me, yeah
I always knew there was an answer for my prayer
And you, your the one, the one for me

Your one in a million
Your once in a lifetime
You made me discover one of the stars above us
Your one in a million
Your once in a lifetime
You made me discover one of the stars above us

In the beginning I was cool and everything was possible
They tried to catch me but it was impossible
No one could hurt me it was my game
Until I met you baby and it wasn't the same
When you didn't want me, I wanted you
Because the funny thing about it is I like the show
I like it when it's difficult I like it when it's hard
Then you know it's worth it that you find your heart
(Whoa)

Your one in a million
Your once in a lifetime
You made me discover one of the stars above us
Your one in a million
Your once in a lifetime
You made me discover one of the stars above us

Your one in a million

This song is so sweet. I think it describes the feeling beautifully.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
