I want to see where the sirens sing
Hear how the wolves howl
Sail the dead calm waters of the pacific

Dance in the fields of coral
Be blinded by the white
Discover the deepest jungle

I want to find the secret path
A bird delivered into my heart, so

It's not the end
Not the kingdom come
It is the journey that matters, the distant wanderer
Call of the wild
In me forever and ever and ever forever
Wanderlust

I want to love by the blue lagoon
Kiss under the waning moon
Straying, claiming my place in this mortal coil

Riding the dolphins
Asking the mountains
Dreaming Alaska
The earth can have but earth

I want to find

It's not the end

Look into my eyes and see the wanderer
See the mirrors of a wolf behold the pathfinder

Tuomas on this song: "It's a cliché that life's a one big journey. But that's the way it is. And there's so much to discover and experience on this planet. I couldn't bear the thought that I would have to live my life with the biggest experience being a one-week trip to Canary Islands after working in an office for one year straight. Routine kills everything. I wish people would find the "wanderer within"."

The title of the song implies its meaning... the wanderlust, the desire to see it all, to feel it all, to travel far and wide and search endlessly for those things that make life worthwhile(if there are any)...

I agree, This song is about the journey of life, and about going places, doing things, and living life to the fullest.

I think wandering need not be constrained to physical things... Could be ideas, feelings, whatever...

...Not everyone can afford to be a physical wandererer... And that need not have anything to do with money!

This song is about the Kender race in the Dragonlance- saga, since they have the wanderlust in their genes and they want adventures and they want too see everything.

Its not about the Kender....at least not directly. I mean to say its not a song written about 4 foot tall theives walking around ceaselessly. Its about the concept of wanderlust (which admittedly is tied to Kender from Dragonlance). As already said here its about seeing the world. Note the words pacific, earth, alaska....not places you find kender generally.

Binni basicly summed it up with Toumas's quote. I think its about lifes journey, what you see with your eyes and what you feel with your heart.

I believe its most likely about what Tuomas want's, atleast at Nightwishes website he says that he would like to visit Alaska. Also he has escapism (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escapism) which would point to the wandering in your imagination.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
