My Last Words Lyrics
But again my sense is late.
Feel a might unsteady,
But still I have to play.
Six to one's the odds,
And, we have the highest stakes.
And, once again I gamble with my very life today.
The oil makes it gleam.
Fill the terror chamber,
Your mind begins to scream.
Your life is like a trigger,
Never trouble till you're squeezed.
Now you crack a smile,
As you give the gun a tease.
Now give the gun a spin.
Soon as the spinning stops,
Oh no, the game starts in.
A hateful way of vengeance,
A bit of playful sin.
Load another bullet,
Now the second round begins.
A couple grams of lead.
A touch against the trigger,
A touch inside the head.
Take another drink, and
Raise the last bets.
Think about my last words,
They might be what I just said.
That couldn't drive a nail.
Sense the numbing cold blue,
Or the red of Hades' grill.
A fraction of a second,
Do you lose, or maybe still,
Pass it to the left,
And collect your mighty kill.
The third round begins.
Soon as the spinning stops,
Oh no, the game starts in.
Please, no I.O.U.'s,
No markers for death.
Does anybody play? Anybody,
Somebody, anybody play.
You, you, next victim, you next to die.
You, come on, next victim, your turn to die.
You, come on, next victim, your turn to die.
Nope, the odds are definately six to one.
There are six chambers in the pistol and therefore six possible outcomes. Only one outcome will prove to be fatal (the chamber which carries the live bullet) and therefore the chance of dying is one in six, which can be described as a six to one chance. ;)
I love that game, and the song is pretty damn good too. Ya gotta have no fear to play.
one of the most underrated songs by megadeth.in my opinion the best track on that classic album.
Can't believe more people haven't commented on this song... It's fucking fantastic, and imo, one of Megadeth's best songs, and by far underrated
One of, if not the best Megadeth song. It's not underrated but unnoticed, rather.
truly unnoticed AND underrated song. this song is just awesome, agree to the last comment, it could be about shooting up a doze of heroin to the vein
I think it's literally a song about Russian Roulette, just like, say Rust In Peace is about nuclear holocaust.
But this is imo Megadeth's second best song behind Tornado of Souls. It combines great lyrics with amazing musicality. Too bad the production isn't that good.
It's definitely about russian roulette, and I love it, I listen to it at least 5 times a'day
i totally agree, this song is awesome!
