This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines:
"Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet"
So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other:
"I had all and then most of you"
Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart
"Some and now none of you"
Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship.
This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"
Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
Your a burner yeah a real motor car
Said you wanna get your order filled
Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you
Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah
We were shifting hard when we took off
Put tonight all four on the floor
When we hit top end you know it feels to slow
Said you wanna get your order filled
Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you
Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah
Oh!
I'm giving you my room service
And ya know it's more than enough
Oh one more time ya know I'm in love
Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah!
Imagine you were at my station
And you brought your motor to me
With all four on the floor I feel what's in store
Whoever thought you'd be better
At turning a screw than me
I do it for my life
Made my drive shaft crank
Made my pistons bulge
Made my ball bearing melt from the heat
Oh yeah yeah!
And you brought your motor to me
Your a burner yeah a real motor car

Made me shiver when I put it in
Pumping just won't do ya know luckily for you

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
Megadeth>Metallica. I got 2 words for you
St. Anger
Why did that album ever have to exist? After it was released I realize Mustaine doesn't need Metallica, Metallica needs Mustaine. I really lost a lot of respect for Metallica after St. Anger and Lars Ulrich's greed. Watch Some kind of Monster and you will see that Dave was the scapegoat for all the band members problems. They all had drug and alcohol problems, yet Mustaine was the only one blamed. I am not being biased I am just saying the truth. Though I still love Metallica from the 80s they just suck ass now. Megadeth is consistently awesome .
Rust in Peace>Master or Puppets.
AJFA > Rust In Peace
RiP = MoP... they both are masterpieces...
Black Album > Risk
yeah
oh and St Anger > Endgame
but
Rust In Peace + Peace Sells + Killing is my business >>>>>>>> anything by metallica except AJFA and MoP

lol@guy saying Dave cant solo... srsly...

Megadeth and Metallica are both awesome... they can coexist... I can listen to their work for my whole life and id be happy
Megadeth fanboys hate on Metallica for no reason and Metallica fanboys hate on Megadeth for no reason.. its retarded.. just stop it
Oh, like Megadeth didn't make crap? Two words: Super Collider. That was not a great album...

Metallica may have made some bad choices (personally I like all albums from KEA to Black Album, plus St. Anger and Death Magnetic), and simply due to something bad, people like you are going to criticize them all around. How pathetic! I mean, yeah, Lulu was crap, but I never ranted sh*t about it saying they suck ass by now. Forget the less good work, stay with the best stuff. Period.

We are there to listen to their awesome music, not criticizing them for what they do wrong. So shut up and listen instead.
