say hello before you say goodbye
i should go, before you make me cry
she wants to bleed every drop inside of me
but i aim to please the little girl inside of me, too

yeah, yeah
you know i hate to say
oh no, i always stay
i don't wanna be like the others please

who is sorry now?
who is sorry now?
if i show you how
will you let me down?

slit my wrists and die a whore
love to love to love what you adore
i can give you anything, but please let me
be your everything... please

yeah, yeah
you know i hate to say
oh no, i always stay
i don't wanna be like the others please

who is sorry now?
if i show you how,
will you let me down?
will you let me down?

who is sorry now?
who is sorry now!?

my love is weakness
my love is oh so wrong
my love is sadness
my love is oh so strong
my teeth are razor sharp
my love is fucking strong
i'll be with you but not for long

oh, oh, oh

yeah, yeah
you know i hate to say
oh no, i always stay
i don't wanna be like the others please

who is sorry now?
who is sorry now?
who is sorry now?

if i show you how
will you let me down?
will you let me down?
please let me down
please let me down

another needy relationship song... it's about someone that keeps letting her lover down and hurts him in many ways but still he loves and is attached to her to the point of obsession. he knows it's an unhealthy relationship and tries to walk away from it, but he can't because she's like a drug. he doesn't "want to be like the others" because every other guy has fallen for her at one point and were probably "killed" by her. he believes he can show her true love but it's really infatuation.

I think that this song is about a really shaky relationship with someone, and the guy just wants to be alone. The girl constantly follows the guy around and even wants to have a baby ("she wants to bleed every drop inside of me"). The guy becomes oblivious to the girl and doesn't want to be like the same relationships that he had before ("I don't want to be like the others, please") and he repeats it time and time again. He then realized that the only way to get away from the girl is death or even suicide (slit my wrists and die a wh**e). He says multiple times that I WANT TO GET AWAY FROM YOU! but the girl constantly refuses, and then the guy bounces back by LITERALLY SAYING "my love is sadness" and "my love is oh so wrong" and then he finally compromises to the girl and says "I'll be with you, but not for long." And who did he (Billy Corgan) have a shaky relationship with? None other than his past wife CHRIS FABIAN. So this song (in theory) is about his fiancee/wife Chris Fabian. I have a feeling "Bodies" off of Mellon Collie is sort of a "Hello Kitty Kat" Part 2 since he divorced Chris around the time the Siamese Dream tour wound down. In Bodies, he flat-out screams "LOVE IS SUICIDE!" referring to the fact that in "Hello Kitty Kat" he was nearly driven to suicide by the girl.

I agree wit Ethilien bout herting sum1 2 many times & the person becomes obsessed wit the other person. Dat happened 2 me earlier n da skool year. I broke up wit a guy -n- he became a psyco ex-boyfriend/stalker. His stalking is still going on even tho he has a gurlfriend now. But since I can bench 140 lbs. -n- I got mah boyfriend, Tony I won't have 2 worry bout dat much longer.

i don't really think its about a relationship being taken to the point of obsession. i think its just billy really being in love with someone who keeps hurting him but he wants it to work out between them. i don't get the "who's sorry now?" bit. sounds like he's hurt them back reading the lyrics, its a lot more emo than i thought...

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
