The Palantir

As I peer into, the sights of doom
I sit and contemplate
The thoughts of my mortality
To live or seal my fate
In this time of great uncertainty
I fear I shall not wait
For the hammer falls the strongest
At the peril in my wake
As the spider sits, patiently
My mind fills with dread
As visions swell and cripple me
I may as well be dead
I cannot sleep, I cannot eat
My thoughts fill my dread
As an ancient king I end my life
My line broken in defeat
Doom has come, the end is here
No though in my endless sleep
