Misery Meat Lyrics

You want a taste of my brain? Okay, it's yours anyway

A bite of my eye? All right, I won't put up a fight

How 'bout today, you try eating someone else for a change?
Because the way things are going, I won't last another day

As you open up my ribs, the blood flows out like a river

You strip my bones away as you indulge in my liver
And the more that I am in pain, the more that you'll gain
And to me, that seems like a pretty fair trade
You bite, my nervous system ignites
The tormenting spite, sacrifices must be made

One thing that you'd never hear me say
Is that I'm tired of living

Funny thing that statement change today
Good thing that I'm forgiving

Cover art for Misery Meat lyrics by Sodikken

I think this song song is about a victim trying to please someone (most likely the person in People Eater, I haven’t watched the music videos) by giving them their organs. The character in People Eater eats organs too, so these two songs could be related in the same story they’re in. But the victim in this music video realizes they’re slowly dying, but they push the threats aside by saying it’s a fair trade and that they forgive a lot.

In a short explanation: it’s about a people pleaser in a never ending loop of pleasing and slowly dying.
