Mind in a Maze

I run away just to get found
Underground
And the truth still slips out
Been around
Cuz' the people
Oh they all wanna change
The catacombs and the crosses
They try to hide who your boss is
They never tore down their temples
It's just a new coat of paint
And I see so much of the same
I know It's gonna drive me insane
If I let it
They paint on the ceilings of chapels
Hide their truths in their castles
And we let it
Well the saints make sinners
And the rain gets thicker
Is the sick man sane
Or do the sane get sicker
Is it all in vein?
So we paint more pictures
Tell more stories
And turn it into scripture...
From the heathens to the angels
Horns and the halos
Prayer and the painful
It seems like we cant evolve
Know that we cant evolve
My minds in a maze
While I'm trapped in a cage
And as the days all fade
I barely think we changed at all

We still walk on the graves
That they hide in the shade
I can't help but pray
That there powers begin to fall

OCD or ADHD
Daily pills just screaming
"Take me"
Maybe being crazy
Means I'm seeing thru the lies
