[Verse 1]
I got my good side on
I left my bad side home
I got my good side on
Said I left my bad side home

[Verse 2]
You know, my baby makes me feel good
Oh, he knows how to turn me on
He knows every trick in the book
And he use them to get me hook

[Chorus]
Ow!
He turned my good side on (Feel good)
He turned my bad side off (Feel good)
He turned my good side on (Feel good)
He turned my bad side off
Ow!
(Feel good)

[Ikettes]
Feel good
Feel good
Feel good
Feel good

[Chorus]
'Cause I got my good side on (Feel good)
I left my bad side home
Ow!
(Feel good)
I got my good side on (Feel good, feel good)
Because I left my bad sidе home (Feel good)

[Verse 3]
There arе two sides to everybody
A good side and a bad
A side to make you happy
A side to make you mad

[Verse 4]
What you need is a heavy lo-lover
That's the key when you're tryin' to struggle
You need a man to take the stand
To take the low and make you know

[Chorus]
He can turn your good side on (Feel good)
Turn your bad side off (Feel good)
He can turn your good side on (Feel good)
Leave the bad side home
Ow! Feel good
(Feel good, feel good)
Feel good
Feel good (Feel good, feel good)

[Ikettes]
Feel good
Feel good
My baby, make me feel good
Feel good
Feel good
My baby, make me feel good

[Ikettes]
My baby
My baby
My baby, make me feel good

[Verse 5]
I was born on the bad side
I had troubles with my mother
I had problems with my father
And discontentment with myself

[Verse 6]
So I went to see my doctor
To get some good advice
He said I needed a tuner
He thought that would be enough
You know

[Chorus]
He turned my good side on (Feel good)
He turned my bad side off (Feel good)
He turned my good side on (Feel Good)
You know he turned my bad side off
Ow!
(Feel good)
Feel Good

[Ikettes]
Feel good, feel good
Feel good (Said I feel good, good, good)
Feel good (You know I feel good)
Feel good

[Chorus]
'Cause I got my good side on (Feel good)
I left my bad side home (Feel good)
I got my good side on (Feel good, feel good)
I left my bad side home
Ow!
(Feel good)
Feel good

[Ikettes]
Feel good (My baby makes me feel good)
Feel good (Said I feel good, good, good)
Feel good (You know I feel good)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

When We Were Young

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
