This song was released in Oct. of last year but the video for it (you can see on youtube) was created & came out recently & features the band in quarantine watching tv which exposes just how bad the human race can act at times in a plague type situation. Sure a plague can bring out the best in people but the focus here is the other side; the greed (hoarding groceries), the selfishness & disregard for others (spring breakers still partying on beaches). That's what the song to me is about to me, the worst in humanity becoming exposed by a circumstance as extreme as a plague.
