[Verse 1: Ivan B]
I'm caring less of losing touch
I lost myself by keeping us
I'm wanting more like "what's enough?"
I'm driving faster just because
I learned a lot of simple things that many have passed
Like you won't find your future by hooking up with your last
Moppin' up these floors
Can you see it through my lense?
Hustle with this moppin'
Ima trade it for a benz
Whippin up in the kitchen
You can invite all of your friends
Cook it up fresh, oh, thank you, come again
Youngin' from the Bay
Slidin' through on the scene
Rockin' denim, killin' beats
Yeah, it must be the jeans
With all the snakes in the yard
I'm always out on the road
With all the cards that you're dealt
Sometimes you let it unfold
I got phone calls from home, like
"Why aren't you home?"
She like "You should move in,"
But I already moved on, damn
Tell me where that leave me at
Tell me where that genie at
I gotta couple wishes, and I'm startin' with this TV, yeah
Lots of material things
Hung on this chain on my neck
She wears all these beautiful things
Worth about ten of my checks
Suffocating girl, I need to escape
And right now a road trip's only thing I can take

[Chorus: Ivan B]
Take the back roads with me
Back roads with me
Back roads with me
Take the back roads with me
Back roads with me
Back roads with me
Back roads with me
Take the back roads with me

[Bridge: Ivan B]
Only thing that I've been feeling are these back roads
Six hour drive, anything you ask for
Take a trip baby, don't forget your passport
Anywhere you wanna go, take the back roads with me

[Verse 2: Ivan B]
Leave it all behind like I got nothin' to lose
If you ever thought I cared, then you got me confused
And I ain't tryna be rude
I just been up in a mood
Cause everybody saying some
But what can I do
It's like I'm too tired, and stressed out
Friends come with they hands out
Turnin' up my AC, Guess I'm really 'bout to vent now
I been looking around, like can I keep it together
Best friends come around the moment you doin' better
But that's the times that we livin'
I'm hopin' some of you heard me
They see me team, how we're winning
And they're like "Pass me a jersey,"
Yeah, I needa take the scenic route
Needa get a better picture
What my future be about
Cuttin' ties like it's casual day
What I love about these roads
How it's only one way
Start up the engine
She like "Where do we go,"
Girl, I'm fine with being lost
If it's out on the road

[Chorus 2: Ivan B]
Take the back roads with me
Back roads with me
Back roads with me
Take the back roads with me
Back roads with me
Back roads with me
Back roads with me
Take the back roads with me

[Bridge 2: Ivan B]
Only thing that I've been feeling are these back roads
Six hour drive, anything you ask for
Take a trip baby, don't forget your passport
Anywhere you wanna go, take the back roads with me

[Verse 3: Ivan B]
Blessing, it's a blessing just to be here today
Five heads in a whip, like them high school days
Yeah, remember these moments
Cause out the window they go
Summer vibes, soul friends, heart breaks and you know
And when these winters get cold
And all these summers get old
And everybody doin' better
All your stories all told

[Link/Outro: Ivan B]
Are you, down to take back roads?
Are you, down to take back roads?
Tell me, are you down to take back roads?
Yeah, where do we go from here?
Where do we go from here?
Are you down to take the back roads?
Are you down to take the back roads?
Are you down to take the back roads?
Where do we go from here?

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
