Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna make this happen
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
I'm gonna fly forever
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna ride that rainbow
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah

Find that open road
Catch that blazing star
And climb out of that hole
To wonder where we are

Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna make this happen
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
I'm gonna fly forever
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna ride that rainbow
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah

Where omens scar your door
Like a harvest
We're bound and set for war
But no soldier comes

A serpent for your fist
And a scarab for your mouth
The symptoms say persist
So resist
But a cure is not in doubt

Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna make this happen
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
I'm gonna fly forever
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna ride that rainbow
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah

You'll just rise on forever
As my halo shines in you
When doldrums age in platinum
I've a starship you can use

Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna make this happen
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
I'm gonna fly forever
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna ride that rainbow
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
I'm gonna fly forever
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna make this happen
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
I'm gonna fly forever
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna ride that rainbow
Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah
We're gonna make this happen
I'm gonna fly forever
We're gonna ride that rainbow

    General Comment

I am intrigued by the other interpretation of this song, it is an amazing song for sure. Here are some of my ideas to add that maybe can be helpful to put together some puzzle pieces furthermore. It would surely be nice to just ask the song writer because I can personally say, as a researcher, I am very interested in how the songwriter is getting these ideas, or at least how I am seeing the symbology in the lyrics, surely.

Firstly, Malta is in Greece, and the Greek ways of life inspired many, and is an important part of history, and the development of it. The song could simply be about rebirth but I can't help but add my own notes to this.

During Cleopatra's reign in Egypt, where she worked with serpents, not as a weapon for your fist yet instead as a tool in her hand for finding liars as she made great decisions and needed to filter out liars with them.

Scarabs were symbolic of rebirth, a very important part of the religion at the time, and it sounds like the scarab for your mouth is symbolic of food for rebirth, even a serpent is seen as symbolic for rebirth in ancient Egypt and eating its own tail to explain such. At the same time we have Julius Caesar over in Rome, Cleopatra's husband. Julius Caesar, took Greek's ideas to Rome, built an empire, and a strong military.

Julius Caesar was supposed to go off to fight more wars, but as he became Dictator of Rome, he made enemies as well, gaining too much power. Some will say he was assassinated by his rivals, but there is much evidence that says Julius Caesar and Jesus (translation: Hail Zeus, the Greek name for God at the time) were the same.

Caesar/ Jesus decided to tell people "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God". Julius Caesar even thought "Jesus" was so influential that Jesus' face was on his money (odd, right?! doesn't that say a lot right there?!) But anyhow, Caesar faced backlash as he tried to tell people they didn't need to go to war, that they needed God and faith instead, but ended up on a cross being crucified instead and thus was the "but no soldier comes"...

There are so many more symbols in this song that lead me to really wonder what the song writer wants us to know, but this is pretty amazing to a researcher and scholar like myself.

    My Interpretation

So i think i got this one mostly. Just trying to figure out what it meant with little to no knowledge of any of this sent me down some deep rabbit holes that i pretty much forgot i was even trying to solve as one door lead to the next this but i had a feeling it was worth exploring and wow... this one introduced me to things that have changed the nature of my existence and im surprised this is so openly revealed

"We're gonna make this happen" Statement of intent, casting a vision to manifest

"Woah-woah-woah-woah-woah, woah" 666 - 666 - hebrew numberology (this may be a crass interpretation, i trying to see the truth past dogma, but im pretty sure this is a precise approximation)

"I'm gonna fly forever" ascending towards the highest self, looking for the next level of oneness in the great cosmic experiment to know and become all potential(again an approximation)

"We're gonna ride the rainbow" Exploration of vibration frequency, (exploration of "reality")

"Find that open road Catch that blazing star And climb out of that hole To wonder where we are"

This is what i am understanding to be initiation maybe, how to create the world we want, overcome death achieve our dreams.

"Find that open road" As we navigate reality, we have barriers, obstacles, we have to find an open road in our mind around.

"Catch that blazing star" I believe this is about casting a manifestation after you imagine a reality where that dream is possible and using the collective subconsciousness to manifest it through will of the subconscious masses?

"And climb out of that hole To wonder where we are" Climbing out the other side of the rabbit hole and looking at the other side (very literal for me currently...)

"Where omens scar your door" We've been told to be scared of curiousity, there are questions we should not ask. The Door is the unknown we have been made afraid to walk through

"Like a harvest" Fear of being marked unfit, slapped down. this one im still hesitant to elaborate on

"We're bound and set for war But no soldier comes" The omens were ignored and they are prepared to defend themselves against the possible consequences, to relate to a lesser version more are aware of would be man's use of fire "playing with fire" we still dont know the consequences of altering the natural order of things

-Personal note discovered during investigation Given the light of current circumstances, it appears "SOME" may be incorrect as the Ancient Diety Kek may have been accidentally resurrected and if this plays out chaos seems to be that soldier that has come and symbols and dont seem to be loosing the battle before they even realize the soldier has arisen... I suspect kek has description though and some groups may stand unopposed who haven't abused the innocent but back to the symphony...

"A serpent for your fist" The power to ascend above the thrones of God on your hand

"And a scarab for your mouth" the power to adapt to a new environment on your head

"You'll just rise on forever As my halo shines in you" Higher self guiding lower self on the path between this incarnation and the divine

"When doldrums age in platinum" Still dont get this

"I've a starship you can use" cant share this, the muse i found along the way(for lack of the proper term) that's been helping me interpret this told me not to

This song along with some other "coincidences" that "caught my attention" have changed my whole reality, i expect many more will be here soon and beyond, or you can call me mad and sleep well little ones. But we aren't in Kansas anymore and you can tell by whats going on in the world around you

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
