I was waiting by an offie on the Old Kent road,
when I bumped in to a girl that I used to know.
I said my god girl where did the years go,
when you see your brother make sure that you say hello.
hello

It turns out that the guy that I remember her with,
well they got married and divorced and had a couple of kids.
It’s funny but i couldn’t help but feel ashamed,
when she smiled at me and said my god you look the same.

Well, oh oh.

This is just my philosophy and if it don't sound much well it work for me,
It’s fair enough if you don’t agree, that's alright, that's alright.

I know that day I thought about the girl I knew,
and how a thousand years ago we do the things we do.
Maybe I should have stayed and we'd have married too,
and had a couple kids and take them to the swimming pool.

But then again I’ve got a lot of tales to tell,
considering it's probably just as well.
One day maybe I’ll settle down we'll have to see,
you live the life you wanna live and I’ll be me.

well I say

This is just my philosophy and if it don't sound much well it work for me,
it’s fair enough if you don’t agree, that's alright, that's alright.
That's alright, that's alright,

Frrrreeeestyle!!!

This is just my philosophy and if it don't sound much well it work for me, follow,
it’s fair enough if you don’t agree, that's alright, that's alright.
That's alright, that's alright,
that's alright, that's alright.
