I've tried to keep my head straight
But I can't stay calm and sane
The more I try to stand still
The more my hands start to shake

I'm gasoline near a flame
A burning bridge about to break
I'm pretty sure that the rain is too damn late
And you should leave while it's still safe

Get out, get out
We knew this had to end, we knew this had to end in fire
Get out, get out
There's nothing left to say, nothing left to say it's over

I've tried to keep my tongue down
I'm going quietly insane
The more you spit your bull shit
The more I hate your name

I'm gasoline near a flame
A burning bridge about to break
I'm pretty sure that the rain is too damn late

Get out, get out
We knew this had to end, we knew this had to end in fire
Get out, get out
There's nothing left to say, nothing left to say it's over

Cold and fake, quick to blame
Sorry won't make me stay
You're all alone in a grave you made yourself
I'm gasoline near a flame
A burning bridge about to break
I'm pretty sure that the rain is too damn late
You should leave while it's still safe

My InterpretationThis is about a fight, from the perspective of one hurt by the partner's actions. It is not clear what the partner did (you're all alone in a grave you made yourself), but given the anger ("gasoline near a flame" and "burning bridge about to break") it is likely to be either a money issue (like gambling) or an affair/cheating.

The only critique about this song is that as sung, the original lacks the fiery passionate anger in the lyrics especially at "Get out, get out". The only point when you feel that simmering anger is with the sound of the harsh consonant "t" in the lyric "the more your spit your bullshit / the more I hate your name."
