"Dead Man's Switch" as written by and Andrew Schwab Alexander Albert....
High noon comet, not a moment too soon
There's gonna be a firefight tonight
A reckoning to confront the residents of this tomb
A gunpowder party and it feels just right
There comes a time, there comes a day
There comes an hour when

In every man's life
In every man's life
When he must
Brandish his steel
Mount up his steed

In every man's life
In every man's life
My will be a dead man

Hush, all is quiet in the dusty alleyways
Few men dare to penetrate this land
And live to tell this terrible tale
My trusty six shot, my own right hand
There comes a day, there comes a time
There comes an hour when

I'm not talking 'bout killing a man
I'm not referring to dirt, this land
There's no showdown here besides the one
That's erupting inside my head

TranslationThe above lyrics are not the lyrics to the song. The actual lyrics are:

    Shovel the coals and begin
Feed the iron horses with mortal remains
And we stay on this bearing
    Destined for your derailment
Feed on the steam and the speed
    With momentum daring to break

    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein

One with the speed, all that you need
    Fire to breathe kerosene
Burnt off the rails, destined to fail
    This unrelenting hell on wheels

March with the beat of the rails
No man can take the helm of
This chaos parade, this havoc train
To board this evil engine with no
    Dead man's switch!
Ear to the ground, feel the shake
The iron horse is coming your way

    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein
    Feed the engine vein

One with the speed, all that you need
    Fire to breathe kerosene
Burnt off the rails, destined to fail
    This unrelenting hell on wheels

One with the speed, all that you need
    Fire to breathe kerosene
Burnt off the rails, destined to fail
    This unrelenting hell on wheels

This apparatus is built for one sound
Birthed to live fast and die loud
    Crush

    Feed the engine vein (Crush)
    Feed the engine vein (Crush)
    Feed the engine vein (Crush)
    Feed the engine vein (Crush)
    Feed the engine vein (Crush)
    Feed the engine vein (Crush)
    Feed the engine vein (Crush)

One with the speed, all that you need
    Fire to breathe kerosene
Burnt off the rails, destined to fail
    This unrelenting hell on wheels

One with the speed, all that you need
    Fire to breathe kerosene
Burnt off the rails, destined to fail
    This unrelenting hell on wheels

My InterpretationI think that the hellish train in the song is the godless world.
It's coming right at you with complete disregard for the lives it has ruined thus far: "feed the iron horses with mortal remains."
It is hellbent on destroying you: " we stay on this bearing Destined for your derailment"
No individual can overcome it: "No man can take the helm of This chaos parade, this havoc train To board this evil engine with no Dead man's switch!"
Yet its evil will not prevail in the end: "destined to fail."
