"Delicious" as written by and Maynard James Keenan....
How inconvenient and unexpected and harrowing for you
These consequences tend to be
For the rest of us
So delicious to witness your dread
Wedding just as consumate

Not unlike you to heedlessly hoist away, lost long the name
Arrogant and insolent
You don't give a damn
Collateral be damned

Not unlike you to hoist away
Hoist away, lost my grenade
Choice and bed be made, good night
Sleep tight

So delicious for the rest of us
To witness your dread
Wedding just as consumate

Not unlike you to heedlessly
Hoist by your own vain petard
Wrong side of history
You don't give a damn
Collateral be damned

Not unlike you to hoist away
Hoist away, lost my grenade
Choice and bed be made
Good night
Sleep tight

My InterpretationThis seems to me to be addressing the Republicans in power and their ultimately doomed fight against progress.

My InterpretationIdk, if this is particularly addressing one political faction because it lacks any real references. To me it seems to be referring to karmaic justice within political factions. For example those who advocate for hate speech laws, they think they're just and "on the right side of history" right up until their own hate speech laws land them in jail alongside the opponents they seeked to destroy.
