Every endless word
I have nothing here
Sick of all that was
Tired of all that is
Every hated love
I have broken in
Sick of fucking up
Tired of falling in

And all that I regret
I have before, I will again

It's over now
(Are you running away?)
I come apart
(As I light the way)
It's in my blood
(Let the sky fall down!)
I won't let go
(My oblivion!)

Counting every breath
I am my own fear
Nothing ever was
Nothing ever is
Every halo lost
I am worn within
Nothing left to harm
Nothing left to live

And all that I regret
I have before, I will again

It's over now
(Are you running away?)
I come apart
(As I light the way)
It's in my blood
(Let the sky fall down!)
I won't let go
(My oblivion!)

Face the monster i've become
(And fight, hate will not become!)
In the ground we rise to burn
(Maybe your life will let me love!)
Forgive my heart

It's over now
I come apart
It's in my blood (let the sky fall down!)
I won't let go (my oblivion!)

Every endless word I have nothing here [You use all the words you can to make it right, but yet you're still left with nothing] Sick of all that was Tired of all that is [You're sick of all that has and is happening] Every hated love I have broken in [Everything you loved has left and you hate that, but you've broken that idea into your head] Sick of messing up Tired of falling in [You're tired of messing everything up, and falling for lies]

(Pre-Chorus) And all that I regret I have before, I will again [And even though you regret it all, you know you're gonna regret it again.]

(Chorus) It's over now (are you running away?) [Your relationship is over, and they seem to be avoiding you] I come apart (as Im running away) [Its breaking you apart inside, even though your doing the same thing] It's in my blood (let the sky fall down) [You know its in your blood to screw everything up, so your always ready for it to fall apart] I won't let go (my oblivion) [Yet you still won't let go of her, and you just stay oblivious to the facts]

Counting every breath I am my own fear [Your waiting for it to fall apart, and because of it, you've become your own fear] Nothing ever was Nothing ever is [You know all that you had never was, so now you feel like you will never have it] Every halo lost I am worn within [All the good is lost, and it's wearing you down] Nothing left to hurt Nothing left to live [There's nothing left in you for people to hurt, but yet you've been so hurt you can't live anymore]

    (Pre-Chorus) (Chorus)

Face the monster I've become [The hurt has caused you to become a monster in your own eyes] (Im Falling Down! Life wont let me love!) [It's breaking you apart and you feel like you can't love anymore] In the ground we rise to burn [You try to have a relationship and it fails] (Maybe your life will let me love!) [You were hoping that maybe, she would let you love her, and she would understand when you screw up] Forgive my heart [Asking her to forget and forgive the things you do that screw it all up]

Well, theres my interpretation of it, maybe from recent evvents .

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
