On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love

On everything I love
Imma buy my momma that crib
On everything I love
Imma spend 100 on new wheels
On everything I love
Imma need a king size no cash
On everything I love
When I get it
Imma flip it and make it last

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
Everything I love

On everything I love
I'mma be your main bitch
Went to school on some plan B shit
With some bein' all like a B shit
You know
I just wanna make it out
To make it out I got to stack a bigger mouth
Unless I got to figure out
Ill never be a nigga bitch
Or a nigga hoe
Our prayers that will live long
Ill be crying for my uncle
But hes still gone
I know I got to put on like a roof
Spitting like a tooth gone
But Im too grown
I aint living for no hand outs
And that will be no banging

Get a job
Why would I pay you all?
I just wanna know
What it feels like
Everything I worked for
Is what I left for
Everything I left by
Is what I killed for
I love
Ill commit for anything

On everything I love
Imma buy my momma that crib
On everything I love
Imma spend 100 on new wheels
On everything I love
Imma need a king size no cash
On everything I love
When I get it
Imma flip it and make it last

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love

On everything I love

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
Everything I love

On everything I love
My daddy be a real nigga
True nigga
Taught me never need a nigga
So I never need a nigga
Dont you ever need a nigga
If you have to feed the nigga
You might as well beat the nigga
Then you better leave that nigga
Girl you better leave that nigga
I put that on everything
I put that on everything

I wanna be independent
I dont want to live check to check
I will never wanna be a failure
Whos real, whos fake
Couldnt tell you
The most time you feed your enemies
On everything
I love to put it on the Bible
Its all about survival
When they see you doing good
They despise you
Dont let it surprise you

Everything I worked for
Is what I left for
Everything I left by
Is what I killed for
I put that on everything
I love
Ill commit for anything

On everything I love
Imma buy my momma that crib
On everything I love
Imma spend 100 on new wheels
On everything I love
Imma need a king size no cash
On everything I love
When I get it
Imma flip it and make it last

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love

On everything I love
On everything I love
On everything I love
Everything I love
On, on everything

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
