Say she love me I don't know what she means
Bet her tune change quick
When there's doe in between
She always ask me what I want
Never ask what I need
Never had her own stash
Always asking for weed
Asking where we gon eat
Never pick up the bill
I was young
And thought I had to deal with picking up pills
I was dumb
I let a pretty face
Fuck with my better judgement
Feeling numb
Learning this is what fat asses come with
What kinda love is this
I can't trust another with my heart again
Any chick
That ever did me wrong
Bet we're far from friends
Heard I'm doing good now
She can't help but go fishing
Spreading rumors
Around the hood
Bet she'd stop if I give in
We was destined for division
Black widow and winter soldier
This love forbidden
But she reminiscing
Still
In my DMs like let's chill
But ain't never wanna build
Ain't never wanna build
The love be underpar as of late
Glove don't fit then I wanna skate
It's fate it's hit and run
Preaching and hating I'm feeling like mase
Eye to eye ain't the same no more
Why do we even conversate
I wanna clean the slate
But I'm burdened by the feeling I owe
I can't believe I got swept up off my feet by a bum ass hoe
Got me troubled so much I fell off scheme
Needles and pipes love for a different kinda fiend
Fuego chad Hugo and nigo
It'd be fire if you throw it back for a g
I can't lie if we linked that'd be a rekindling of history
And to get played like that is stupidity
Battling myself about you it's insanity
I got all kinda words
But this outta body ain't defined in the dictionary
Let's play a game call it love pictionary
This kinda love gets you Mona lisad
Gets you thrown off a bridge so don't ask why I burn bridges
I keep it short like abridged version
Fuck the love this the virgin version
This is real viewer discretion advised
Pour unto the canvas
Wrap with cold bandage
Legs was not to fold candid
I could make ya hoes vanish
Herb a burn lavish
If I learn to merge madness
With the art
I be hooping on these niggas wicker park
IQ lost and it's shock absorbing
Top of the morning cut ya tongue out when the cops is swarming
Who the informant my whip is foreign
Shit get to swerving hate that it end in misfortune
You seen a corpse and now your mental spin like wheel of fortune
More successful with shit I endorse I guess I'm quick with a fork
Y'all twisted cause y'all pray before eating some pork
Bro told me that these hoes is hoes
Realest shit he ever spoke
Every time I put my trust in people
Had to pull the rope
Bargaining with love you fit the glove
So fuck ya anecdotes
Fiending for the views and all the likes
And now your the head is blown
Fucking on another nigga
Talking about you miss me, girl you filthy
Just know that I been shifty like twenty two
Prolly why it's hard for me to trust I just enjoy the view
Hit a couple times but your timestamp is coming soon
Pulled ya card I keep my poker on me ducking noon
Keep my mask on me when I smile
Rip to fucking doom
Take your love with a grain
Cause I'm on the move
Paint me off as evil
Either way karma soon
When it comes to love I've made some selfish decisions
And you ain't ever been the type to have forgiveness
We could of made the family tree larger
I pictured a feast with all the fixings
No matter how delicious your kisses were
The toxic made me distant
Disregard the cherry red lipstick on my shirt from my mistress
Selfishly burn bridges
Understanding going forward just to trust my instincts
When the gut feeling come don't give into the tempting
When it comes to love I need a pure connection
Goddess I've never had
I'll intentions
It was more than sexual tension
Now I'm singing love songs
And now I'm singing love songs
I said fuck the love
Cause when it comes down to it, it all seems fake to me
All make believe
I said fuck the love
Cause when it comes down to it, it all seems fake to me
All make believe
I said fuck the love
It's all fake to me, all make believe

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
