Snot Lyrics
Sparkling
And squirming
Under him
I know now
What's right and wrong
And I know where
To turn that off
Just try me and combine me
I knew you way before you said
I love him
And 666
I want him
To make me sick
My love comes
With my snot
I'm all in
When he's all out

I may be way off here, but I listened to this song like 30 times today, and I have some ideas.
Basically it's about seeing a longtime friend in a destructive relationship (666, make me sick) and having romantic feelings well up at the sight of it. He says he knows when to turn off his moral compass so maybe he's considering doing something wrong in pursuit of that. The line "I loved her with my snot" is a little cryptic, but it makes me think of little kids, so maybe he's talking about someone he's known since early childhood. Ultimately, he's all in when gets his chance.

I think this song is the perspective of someone outside of a relationship. The destructiveness of the relationship is the song writer's opinion on all relationships themselves. When you cry snot comes out, so relationships don't seem as dark to an outsider as they are inside someones personal mind.

These lyrics hit close to home for me. I had feelings for this girl for a long time, she would always blow out snot rockets, which would turn most people off, but I thought it was hilarious and wonderful and I could tell she was a one of a kind person. We had been friends for a while. I could tell we both liked each other more than friends, that there was some sort of extra energy between us, but neither of us said anything about it. Eventually I built up the courage to tell her exactly the way I felt, but then I saw her at a concert with a new boyfriend. We made eye contact from across the room and smiled at each other ("I saw you sparkling"), and then this guy she was with noticed and pulled her attention away from me ("squirming under him"). Since then I try to forget/ignore the feelings I have for her ("I know when to turn that off"). Damn you Alex G, you really pinned me down with this one.
