Something cryptic lying, turning in the cold
Some strange mystery spinning on despite what we were told
Beauty kept away from mortal eye
Hidden deep within the arms of forestry and lies
Practicing the silence in my curse
Bit by bit, I swallowed it - It couldn’t get any worse
Held in place by brilliant power unknown
Taught, in place, my life’s a waste
Forever here alone

It’s all the same
Oh, for years and years, it’s always held its claim
Hear the whispers screaming, tauntingly:
“Come to us, you’re one of us
This is where you’re meant to be.”

Almost out of place while at first glance
Tired hooves attracted to it; quick from trot to raring prance
Once a pony touches it, then pain is all he knows
Cold assimilation is the curse that it bestows
Still I feel the burning in my spine
Rods of bloody iron keep me captive throughout time
Spinning round in circles, endless cycles I despise
While hidden deep within the arms of forestry and lies

It’s all the same
For years and years, and fucking years
It’s always held its claim
Nothing ever changes, while we’re fading at the heart
Wish I could be free of this, but I don’t know where to start

Suffer out now
Suffer out now
Suffer out now
Suffer out now

How'd I get here? I don't know
Something showed me where to go
Why'd I run away from home?
Why'd I venture here?
Saw spirals in the sky
Crept into me, mesmerized
Fell for all its silly lies
Now I'm trapped in fear
What's this before my eyes?
Why am I so hypnotized
Took the bait, and, walking in,
Gave my fate into my sin.
Feel its grasp, chained frustration
Eyes wide in revelation
Now just mental masturbation
I can't leave, no, I can't stay

Putrid smell of halted necrosis
Why have I been forced to endure this
Am I dead? I can't find a reason
Why must feel this through every season

Spinning out, keep on going
With no earthly way of knowing
Ride the carousel with me
and give in to our misery

You're now one of us
So beautiful, so dangerous
We'll keep you down, we'll keep you still
We'll take away your freedom of will

One of us
One of us
One of us
One of us

Round and round and round it goes
Where it stops I never may know
Living for eternity
Blind from life, but I still can see
Hear the engines grind and steam
While skewered on my golden beam
Hellish fires behind our eyes
Reflecting on our lives

Kill me, free me, please can you see me?
Stay away if you want to die
Kill me, free me, please can you see me?
Living forever is just a painful lie

It's all the same
For years, and years, and fucking years, it's always held its claim
Nothing ever changes, while we're fading at the heart
Wish I could be free of this, but I don't know where to start

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
