"Style " as written by Ali Payami, Taylor Swift and Max Martin....
Midnight, you come and pick me up, no headlights
Long drive, could end in burning flames or paradise
Fade into view, oh,
It's been a while since I have even heard from you
(Heard from you)
And I should just tell you to leave 'cause I
Know exactly where it leads but I
Watch it go round and round each time

You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that red lip, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style
You've got that long hair slick back, white t-shirt
And I got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style

So it goes, he can't keep his wild eyes on the road
Takes me home, lights are off he's taking off his coat (Hm yeah)
I say "I've heard that you've been out and about with some other girl, some other girl"
He says "What you've heard is true but I
Can't stop thinking about you" and I
I said "I've been there too a few times"

'Cause you got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that red lip, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style
You've got that long hair slick back, white t-shirt
And I got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt (A tight little skirt)
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go (We never go) out of style, we never go out of style

Take me home
Just take me home
Yeah just take me home, oh

(Out of style) You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye
And I got that red lip, classic thing that you like
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time
'Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style

General CommentAnother song that isn’t quite what it first appears, “Style” is ostensibly about timeless fashions. “You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye,” Swift sings, “And I got that red lip classic thing you like.” But, slowly and subtly, it reveals itself to be something slightly more sinister: a song about a relationship that goes round and round but is never quite healthy. “When we come crashing down we come back every time,” continues the chorus, “We never go out of style.” The arrangement matches the noir-ish feel perfectly, with Nile Rodgers-y funky guitar and a chugging synth riff that would fit right in on the Drive soundtrack.

General CommentI think this song is basically about being drawn to someone. It's not just a physical attraction, but also an emotional pull. In theory you fit together perfectly, but every time you get together it just ends badly. I think the part at the end where she screams "take me home" is her telling the guy she's had enough, she's not going round and round anymore, and she really does want him to take her home.

My InterpretationThis song is about a girl in an unhealthy relationship with a player. We've all been there. "I heard that you been out and about with some other girl/he said what you've heard is true/but I can't stop thinking about you" This guy is dragging her along for what feels like is a physical relationship with a lack of emotional attraction. She loves him, he wants to sleep with her. Hence why he only comes to pick her up at midnight with no headlights. "Good girl faith and a tight little skirt" enhances this perfectly, because she wants to believe he truly wants her and only her but she gives in to what he wants rather than what she wants. In typical manner, she can't lose this bad boy.

General CommentThe accompanying music video was directed by Kyle Newman. On February 10, 2015, Swift posted a teaser for the music video and its release date on Instagram. The video showed Swift's head and steam/smoke tendrils rising up her neck. A second teaser was posted on Swift's social media accounts the next day, depicting shadowy trees on her back. A third teaser was released showing lightning and two different colored eyes being projected onto Swift as she stands against a blank backdrop.

The video was scheduled to be released on Good Morning America on February 13, 2015, but appeared a few hours before the scheduled time through Canadian music channel Much. The video was then quickly uploaded to Swift's official Vevo. Swift's love interest in the video is played by model Dominic Sherwood,[20] whose eyes are two different colors due to heterochromia. Some of the scenes were shot in the Hercules Cave in Tangier, Morocco as she mentioned it on Facebook.

MemoryIt's a relationship (most likely friends with benefits) that's just a vicious cycle - he disappears and reappears as he likes, basically calling the shots - but neither can fully quit it or each other. And in the end, they ignore all the red flags and repeated mistakes because they both want each other (though it may be a more emotional attachment on her side).

It kills me because I'm going through this right now. He's a total mindf*** and I should have exited stage left months ago, but I can't help but stick with it for the few good moments. And it doesn't matter if I ask for advice or not from others, because I'm just going to stay the course in hopes that he'll call again. Thank goodness Taylor can adequately express what I cannot. (And write a simple bridge that I can yell along with in the car, haha.)

My OpinionMaybe if she didn't put the things in the song that make it seem like it's about timeless fashions (His James Dean daydream look in his eyes, long hair slicked back white t shirt and her red lipstick and tight skirt), then we'd know what it's really about.

My Interpretationthe song is clearly about unhealthy on-off relationship between a girl who had "a good faith" and a bad boy who just wanted a physical relationship without emotional attachment, thats why he just "pick her up" in the midnight. And it's been "round and round", the girl "knew exactly where it leads" but kept taking him back, until she felt so drained she beg him to "take her home".

General CommentJust had to say -- the phrase "never go out of style" was actually in the TV show Friends, which everyone knows Taylor loves. In Season 4, Episode 16 "The One with the Fake Party" there is a scene early on in the episode where Rachel is thinking of sneaking a note into her crush's pocket. Chandler reads the note aloud, which says "Guys like you never go out of style". Although this may not be what inspired Taylor I just thought it was an interesting connection and was surprised no one else had made it.
Another interesting thing: in the show, that line gets a laugh from the audience, I'm assuming since it's uber cheesy? Taylor was able to make it uber cool, instead.

My InterpretationThis song can be applicable to any unhealthy relationship. But Hello....?!!!
Its obviously about Harry Styles. Artists often write songs based on personal experiences and they dated for a long time and this song was written after they broke up. Harry Styles has long slicked back hair and can look like James Dean. And his name is "Styles" so its quite clever. Seriously look up James Dean Harry Styles on google images and you will see "the James Dean" day dream look
