We'll make it worse just to make headlines
'Cause news alerts keep the ratings high
For Heaven's sake what does it take
To chase the ambulance down
We'll all be erased in the changing time
We'll leave no trace of intelligent life
Neanderthals would not evolve
So its irrelevant now
Don't let your knuckles drag the ground
Don't choke on the politics
They're cramming down your throat
The pundits of rhetoric know
Something that you don't
Who can scandalize and demonize the most
When the truth will always come out
Or it won't
A bias taste to feed a bias crowd
Innocent face to hide a dangerous mouth
Your poison lung and serpent tongue
Can smell the air running out
But it's too late to stop breathing now.
Don't choke on the politics

The pundits of rhetoric know
Something that you don't
Who can scandalize and demonize the most
When the truth will always come out
Or it won't
Like a blind spot in your eye
Thats slowly growing over time
It doesn't matter if its lies
To make it worse we're taking sides
