General CommentA chamber of reflection is a secluded room in a masonic lodge where candidates who are interested in joining the masons go to reflect before they join. This song is clearly about someone going in the chamber and reflecting on himself. When he leaves the chamber he'll be among the better men, the masons. Weird for Mac to sing about the masonic rituals like this, very creepy stuff if you ask me.

General CommentTo me it seems like a warning to the listener that loneliness doesn't go away with the presence of others. Instead, one should understand that emptiness is something much deeper, and one should look towards his/her inner self to truly understand the feeling (No use looking out

My Interpretationfor me he only wanted to talk about those times we left people because we feel empty, then we move away, we are left alone, we think and we think that by staying alone the way is open to new friends, new people who can show us something happy and happy, so the reflection chamber could be our own room that after we were alone in it we went out and met new people, but the criticism is not to look for happiness in them because you can only be happy inside with yourself and if you can not find you will feel alone again, no matter whether you have new companies or not.

This song is a cautionary tale that attempts to warn the listener that stretching one's ballsack tissue past a certain length will have diminishing returns, and in fact Reflect one's ego back filling the void inside the ballsack, ultimately destroying it.
