We've been here so long
Still I remember
The rainy September

Contact

Two, four, one, ten Two, four, one, ten
Am I transmitting?
Is anyone listening?
Contact

Two, four, one, ten
Two, four, one, ten
Am I still willing
To foot all this billing?
Contact

We are green and gray
The longness of semper
Still I remember
Contact

Two, four, one, ten
Two, four, one, ten
Am I transmitting?
Is anyone listening?
Contact

Riding on our shiny metal horses
Singing a rider's song
One of us will be forgotten
The other one's wrong

Two, four, one, ten Two, four, one, ten
Am I still willing
To foot all this billing?
Contact

When I think of you
Your name's in the sky
Ninety feet high
Contact

Riding on our shiny metal horses
Singing a rider's song
One of us will be forgotten
The other one's wrong

My Interpretationreal quick it is one of us won't be forgotten only in the redux version is it one of us will be forgotten

    now on to the meaning

Red Vs Blue 1st season and a bit onward has the characters stuck in a location for so long and one day they both get attack from a massive outside force and their
position is compromised that is what 2 4 1 10 translate to it is a unsc code

But remove Red Vs Blue this song can apply to any situation with soldiers who been stuck in a location for so long and finally gets attack

    Am I still willing
    To foot all this billing?
Is the soldier willing to go further to live and survive

    When I think of you
    Your name's in the sky
in the soldier last stand they are thinking of their love ones

Riding on our shiny metal horses
    Singing a rider's song
One of us won't be forgotten
    The other one's wrong
well there are two versions of this line in the one of us won't be forgotten could be a final stance and the soldier will give his life knowing for well he will be remembered or his enemy will and whoever loses would be wrong

Now i will post this in he Redux version but one of us will be is pretty much the same but the op or mission the soldier is on is so off the record no one will know he is alive or dead and same can be said of his enemy.
