Huh oh
Yeah yeah
Huh oh
Whoa whoa
Oh

I
I feel good
I walk alone
But then I trip over myself and I fall, I
I stand up
And then I'm OK
But then you print some shit that makes me want to scream

So do what you want, what you want with my body
Do what you want, don't stop, let's party
Do what you want, what you want with my body
Do what you want, what you want with my body

Write what you want, say what you want 'bout me
If you're wondering, know that I'm not sorry
Do what you want, what you want with my body
What you want with my body

You can't have my heart and you won't use my mind but
Do what you want with my body
Do what you want with my body
You can't stop my voice 'cause
You don't own my life but
Do what you want with my body
Do what you want with my body

My bones hurt from all the show hmm
But I don't feel the pain 'cause I'm a pro I
I sink in and then I'm okay eh,
'Cause my body belongs to you when I'm on stage eh

So do what you want, what you want with my body
Do what you want, don't stop, let's party
Do what you want, what you want with my body
Do what you want, what you want with my body

Write what you want, say what you want 'bout me
If you're wondering, know that I'm not sorry
Do what you want, what you want with my body
What you want with my body!

You can't have my heart and
You won't use my mind but
Do what you want with my body
Do what you want with my body
You can't stop my voice 'cause
You don't own my life but
Do what you want with my body
Do what you want with my body

Sometimes I'm scared I suppose
If you ever let me go
I would fall apart (apart)
If you break my heart
So just take my body
And don't stop the party (ayy)

You can't have my heart
And you won't use my mind but
Do what you want with my body
Do what you want with my body
You can't stop my voice 'cause
You don't own my life but
Do what you want with my body
Do what you want with my body

Do what you want with me
What you want, Lady Gaga?
What you want with me, Christina?
Oh, what you want with my body
Do what you want with me
What you want with my body
Do what you want with me
What you want with my body, world
Help me now
What you want with my body (world, what you want with my body)
Do what you want with my body

    My Opinion

I would think twice before giving R. Kelly permission to do what he wants with your body, Gaga.

The songs about not giving the haters her heart, mind, soul instead just giving them her body so they can say whatever and do whatever they want with her body (photoshop, ex. born this way ball tour 'fat' pictures)

She said during an interview that her haters can do what they want with her body but only her little monsters can have heart.

Basically: "You can body shame me all you want, but that's not going to take away who I am or what I do." Like most of the songs on her album, this is just a general middle finger to her critics and haters in the media.

I think this song means that her critics can "Do What U Want" wit her body meaning like calling her fat. When R. Kelly says "Escape all this crazy shit", he means escape all those mean critics. Also "you don't own my mind" means the critics won't force her what to do.

Resignation That is what this song is about. In the context of a pop song, Lady Gaga is resigning herself and therefore all women to the level of sex objects. This is not the end; people are more than that...women are people. R. Kelly's "character" within the song has no inkling of this thinking it is just a pop song like any other. Fuck it you think women are all just a bunch of tools--utilize us, but really we'll be utilizing you keeping our souls (for what they are worth) intact. This is a bleak song as far as the relations between the sexes is concerned. Men do believe that women are objects for sex, even the "nice guys"--you know who you are. Women, quite rightly, do believe--as men unthinkingly do--that they are more than just their bodies. This is a perfect pop song in that it is catchy, somewhat edgy (R. Kelly's even being a part of it, disgraced as he is), but that it has a somewhat complex subtext of transcending the corporeal body and its faith that their is something beyond that. "We lay in the cut like we don't give a fuuuuuuuuck!" Will send shivers down the spine of all but the most jaded of listeners, even if it is being sung by such an oblivious throwback as the one R. Kelly "plays" here.

Personally I think this song is about a certain stage of a relationship where a couple have began being sexual. Lady Gaga does not want to give R. Kelly her love because she senses flaws - "I, I stand up and then I'm okay But then you print some shit that makes me wanna scream" She is not sure about him. Though in the second verse I think that R. Kelly is trying to prove himself to her by saying things like "I could be the drink in your cup I could be the green in your blunt"

    Song Meaning

This song is about Lady Gaga giving the world her body, while she keeps her heart and her mind focused on her music. She sings,

"My bones hurt from all the show hmm But I don't feel the pain 'cause I'm a pro I I sink in and then I'm okay eh, 'Cause my body belongs to you when I'm on stage eh"

to say that she is tribute to her fans. She lets them do what they want with her body while she's onstage. But then she also lets her critics know her body mainly belongs to them too:

"But then you print some shit that makes me want to scream So do what you want, what you want with my body Do what you want, don't stop, let's party"

She grants them control and says that they can insult her body and call her ugly as much as they like, but she's not gonna let them have her heart or mind.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
