Can't count the years on one hand that we've been together
I need the other one to hold you, make you feel, make you feel better
It's not a walk in the park to love each other
But when our fingers interlock, can't deny, can't deny, you're worth it

'Cause after all this time
I'm still into you

I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby, even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let 'em wonder how we got this far
'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah, after all this time
I'm still into you

Recount the night that I first met your mother
And on the drive back to my house I told you that, I told you that I loved ya
You felt the weight of the world fall off your shoulder
And to your favorite song, we sang along, to the start of forever

And after all this time
I'm still into you

I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby, even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let 'em wonder how we got this far
'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah, after all this time
I'm still into you

Some things just, some things just make sense
And one of those is you and I
Some things just, some things just make sense
And even after all this time

I'm into you
Baby, not a day goes by that I'm not into you

I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby, even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let 'em wonder how we got this far
'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah, after all this time
I'm still into you

I'm still into you
I'm still into you

I thought it could be about the band... the song is a metaphor for how they are still together, still get butterflies, how they are still excited about it, you notice how its only the band in the video. how they got through everything that was thrown at them, but she always believed in the band, and she will always be in love and 'into' the band.

This song is too cute. Haha. Yeah, basically, the song is about Hayley and Chad. After all these years, they're still together and still she gets butterflies when she's around him. She believes it's just how it should be, that their love is worth it. Even through the bad, she still knows that she can count on him.

Anyway before anyone starts on how much they've changed, I don't think it's that big. This song is a tap pop-pier? lol But honestly its just like That's What You Get, just without all the heavy guitar. Anyways on to the meaning!

This song is pretty self-explanatory. The girl and the guy have been together for a while now. I mean it wasnt always easy, but what worth it relationship is? But once they hold hands they know its worth it. After all this time she thought that the butterflies and all these feelings would fade away but they havent. And even on their bad days she's still into him. She wants people to want wonder about why they still together, to be envious. She doesn't have to wonder because she knows why she's in love with him. She remembers the day that she met his mom, and on that night she confessed her love for him, and he was grateful because a weight was lifted off his shoulders, to know that she loved him back. They both knew that was the start to their forever together. Some things just make sense and their love happens to be one of them.

for me, this song is a story of a broken heart girl/boy and taught that she/he move on from her/his ex, but was wrong cause like she/he said 'I should be over all the butterflies but I'm into you' she/he like saying that ' I'm taught I move on from you, but I was wrong cause I'm still into you' so for me this is a song for a broken person who taught she/he move on already but was wrong.

I think this song was meant as an "in you're face" in the Farro brothers that turned into a catchy lovey song. Example : Can't count the years in one hand that we've been together, I need the other one to hold make you feel better" Paramore has been together for a long time and they are constantly trying to stay together as a unit to maintain their "band" image and togetherness. My favorite is "let them wonder how we got this far, cause I dont even really need to wonder at all cuz after all this time I'm still into you. Basically a "BAM" like hell yeah all you haters and Farros' we are still together after everything you have put us through and even after leaving us, we are stronger than this. If they would've just made a song like that then people would be calling them petty and the Farro's would've gotten more air time so they could talk about Paramore's childishness but with this love song none is the wiser and the Farro's don't get air time. <3 Giada BBY

In some video I found on youtube, Hayley said that she wrote this song for Taylor York, It was because Taylor was deeply affected by Zac Farro leaving the? band, they were good mates...

    My Opinion

I didn't like this song as much as I liked other paramore songs, but it was ok. The meaning is pretty obvious.

I had thought it was a love song. From a Beats Magazine interview, it sounds like it was inspired by Chad Gilbert. ("Forever" = "Birdhouse In Your Soul" by They Might Be Giants?)

I was really interested in the line "And to your favorite song we sang along, to the start of forever". What song is "Forever" as there are at least 58 "Forever" listed on Wikipedia? I found an answer in "Hayley Williams Interview – Riot On" on BEAT Magazine: "when I started dating my boyfriend Chad we were listening to They Might Be Giants and they have a song Birdhouse In Your Soul."

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
