Ooh make love to me
One more time
Before you go away
Why can't you stay?

Ooh, my love
Come home to me
Just for a while
I'll leave this place and you
Why can't you stay?

Don't run away
Don't slip away my dear
Don't run away
Don't slip away my dear
Don't ruin this heart of mine
The sun is gone
It fell into the fall
But I don't want it this way
Why can't you stay

Don't run away
Don't slip away my dear
Don't run away
Don't slip away my dear
Don't run away
Oh oh

There should be words
There should be words that explain the way
But I'm tongue tied and twisted
(Where's those words?)

Don't run away
Don't slip away my dear

    Song Meaning

After watching the music video, I decided it's about the protagonist having a crisis about his or her marriage. They've been together for a long time now, and they no longer have as much fun together as they used to. He/she feels as if they're drifting apart, much to his/her vexation; Or rather, the protagonist wishes they hadn't grown up so fast, and could relive their days of young-love.

In the video, the guy remains the same age throughout. His wife seems to switch back and forth between herself and her younger-self (either flashbacks or simply in the guy's mind/fantasy). He misses the fun-loving nature of her younger self. The song represents his plea for her to step back and remember when things weren't always so serious, and bring back a little newly-wed fun to their seasoned marriage.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
