Forbidden Love Lyrics
That just makes me want you more
I keep it all hidden
My in-laws would treat me like an outlaw
But I don't think I can just sit and watch
From afar
Something as beautiful as you are
Forbidden Love
Oh you shouldn't have forbade it
'cos if this is
Forbidden Love
I won't rest until I've made it
If you hadn't made a rule to break
I might just have obeyed it
Might just have obeyed it
For a while
I tell myself that I've moved on
But I'm still crazy about you
And just because I'm not allowed
Doesn't mean that I don't want to
I don't think I can just be your mate
Any more
If you didn't want
Forbidden Love
Oh you shouldn't have forbade it
'cos if this is
Forbidden Love
I won't rest until I've made it
If you hadn't made a rule to break
I might just have obeyed it
For a while
Forbidden Love
Oh you shouldn't have forbade it
'cos if this is
Forbidden Love
I won't rest until I've made it
If you hadn't made a rule to break
I might just have obeyed it
For a while
Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love

This is a typical catchy love song about two individuals that for whatever reason, are apart and the singer is wanting to break every rule in the book to be with the person. On a personal level, this song speaks to me, as it can demonstrate the anguish that one person can have when in love with another, the love is forbidden, difficult to both touch and understand, but it doesn't stop, often playing up the cliche saying 'love conquers all'. A lovely, and uplifting song.

The song is pretty self explanatory (duh), the magic is in the harmony - one of the best Darkness songs period, the guitar solo is a bit of a let down but its an otherwise superb track.

I forgot to add - the brilliance of the track really shines around 3:01. Well done lads, well done :)
