Tarquin's Half-Assed Mission Statement

You've got to learn the fundamentals it's true,
We'll start with sounds and letters and words too,
We'll build them up and break them down,
We'll learn the rules on how to move them around.
If I wanted to try harder,
Every day and to be smarter,
If I wanted more from everything and everyone around me,
Don't be afraid to make some stupid mistakes,
(?) makes them every day.
I miss the day when things were harder,
Kiss the day they think they're smarter,
You don't have to do things because you can or cos they're easy,
Learning new habits is really the key,
They make it easier for people like me.
And the melody will change,
And the words won't stay the same,
And this whole thing inconsistent,
Constant lack of repitition now.
