I try to be strong
Try to turn down the desire I’ve been hiding so long
I don’t wanna play
The innocent game
Like I don’t have animal ways,
Just like you I wanna do something we ain’t suppose to
It’s hard to resist
But most of my day is spent dreaming of your, kiss
Can you imagine what would happen if we give in to this magnetic attraction?
Baby you should know that if I ever get you alone

Me and you, me and you, boy we’re gonna need a soundproof room
Me and you, me and you, boy we’re gonna need a soundproof room,
Ooh ooh (Soundproof room) ooh ooh
Boy we’re gonna need a soundproof room

I’m surely a lady
But I’m not a stranger to badly behaving, sometimes
Crossing the line
Doing what I know is wrong 'cause it feels so right
Sneaking away for something extracurricular on a lunch break
With that being said, I’m ready to try what’s been playing inside of my head
Want you to demonstrate your physical advantage, am I sounding like a savage?
I’m not a quitter, I won’t give up till I get it, Baby I just gotta have it

Me and you, me and you, boy we’re gonna need a soundproof room
Me and you, me and you, boy we’re gonna need a soundproof room,
Ooh ooh (Soundproof room) ooh
Boy we’re gonna need a soundproof room

I never usually
Say such crazy things
I can’t control myself
What have you done to me?
Or more importantly
What am I gonna do to you?

Me and you, me and you (If I get you in a soundproof room)
Me and you, me and you (Woo, If I get in you in a soundproof room)
(Hey, yeah, oh I wanna get you in a soundproof room
Oh, I gonna get you in a soundproof
Whoa, I’m get you in a soundproof room)

This song is about a girl who's falling in love with one of her friends. She wants to do it with him, she cant take all the sexual tension that's surrounding them. She's not usually like this, she's usually a lady, but lately she's thinking dirty thoughts about him. She's wants to do stuff she's not suppose to. Friends aren't suppose to have benefits, but she wants to. And if she ever gets him alone she just wants him to know, that they're gonna need a soundproof room. She wants "Extra Curriculars on a lunch break." She wont give up, she just wants him. "I never usually, say such crazy things, I can’t control myself. What have you done to me? Or more importantly, what am I gonna do to you?" She never says things like this but the attraction between them is crazy, she cant control herself, that's how cute he is. What has he done to her? She's never reacted this way to anyone else before. But more importantly what is she gonna do to him.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
