A Better Believer Lyrics
And the moment comes when I no longer know your name
A prince awaits his destiny for all time
Oh baby darling you will see
Your blood belongs to him
A soulless feast
Reborn by the power of the darkness face
A rebirth of his lover to avenge his hate
oh baby darling you will see
Your blood belongs to him a soulless feast
They said that her soul could not be saved
A better believer
Returning with a hunger by the power of love
Oh baby darling you will see
Your blood belongs to him a soulless feast
They said that her soul could not be saved
A better believer
And the moment comes when I no longer know your name

A bit confusing, I'm fairly certain this song is about forbidden love, using a story of a religious woman falling in love with a being of darkness to portray it. The prince mentioned in the song is clearly referring to the prince of darkness himself, Satan. When their sinful relationship is ultimately, inevitably discovered, she is betrayed by those around her and Heaven itself.
When she's called a "better believer," it suggests that she's found solace or strength in her current situation, accepting her fate willingly by finding a new sense of faith in this unconventional love. Like other times in life, she becomes a better person, not attacking but fleeing in love; In a sense, becoming a better religious believer than others with her strong love found in The Prince. In essence, it can either be seen as a battle between faith and darkness, and/or a message about the power of love.
