[Chorus]
Feel like I'm gettin' into something good
Don't want to stop so I'm knocking on wood
I think my streak of bad luck is over
I'm rolling in a field of five leaf clovers
Feel like I'm swingin' on a lucky star
A choir of angels singin' in my heart
I'm smiling like I never thought I could
Feel like I'm gettin' into some kinda something good

I've had some heartaches, I've had some trouble
I've packed my limit of them low down blues
I've had some bad breaks busted my bubble
Eyes under whelmed and over due
But now it's looking like them days are through

[Chorus]

I'm going deeper, I'm gettin' stronger
Never knew fallin' could be so much fun
I'm a believer, My hearts a goner
And every second is second to none
What's even better is its just begun

[Chorus]

Feel like I'm gettin' into some kinda something
Feel like I'm gettin' into some kinda something good

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.
