Yo, yo, yo, I feel it right here.
Yo, yo, yo, I feel it right here.
Yo, yo, yo, I feel it right here.

Slowly, I'm breaking down, feeling weak.
I'm thinking about the higher ground I wish to seek.
For the safeness, for the realness, Oh break it down simple
for my people to hear this, for my people.

Silent, in the dark. I think I'm nutty.
Vicious swords of emotion slash and leave me bloody.
Now, I'm trippin', my problems turn to battles.
I'm up shit creek and guess what, without a paddle.

Six years of age is when I first got my rage.
My father broke out and I turned a new page of my life.
It changed, but then I was crazy,
and thanks to my mom, cuz she had stuck by to raise me.

I was fighting all the time, but God did help.
Releasing all my tension through my knockin' my hand.
I'm comin' out. I'm a freaked out cat.
Comin' stony and wet. Gonna be pickin' it up
for the boys who got slack in a the band,
P-Roach, four fingers of a hand, retarded.

Shut up N die.
Shut up and die.

I said you fucking die.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
