Now baby you, you know my heart
Better than anyone else
And yes I know that it's been hard
But we always seem to work things out
All we need is time

Baby all that we need is time, to
So don't take your love away from me
If you can hear me now, boy
Just don't take your love away

Now baby you, you know my love for you
Is brighter than the stars and the moon,
(so bright, so bright)
And yes I see that baby you are
The best that's ever happened to me
For so long I never saw the wrong
I handled things kinda bad
Yes I did
I never thought that I would lose the wrong
Looking for what I already had
So please

Baby all that we need is time, to
So don't take your love away from me
If you can hear me now, boy
Just don't take your love away

Your love for me
Your trust in me
The things you do
Baby you got the best in me
Baby let me make it up to you
Tell me what I need to do
Don't want to live without
Your love

Baby all that we need is time, to
So don't take your love away from me
If you can hear me now, boy
Just don't take your love away

Let me break it down, let me break it down
Just hear me now, just hear me now
Think about, promise me you'll be around
One more time
Said I'm gonna break it down, break it down
Just hear me now, hear me now
Think about, promise me you'll be around

Baby all that we need is time, to
So don't take your love away from me
If you can hear me now, boy
Just don't take your love away

Baby all that we need is time, to
So don't take your love away from me
If you can hear me now, boy
Just don't take your love away

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
